Driving Instruction

General:
1.  Please make sure the driver receives 6 -8 hours of rest before driving.  Driving while drowsy is hazardous. 
2.  The student should wear shoes that tie or buckle, not flip-flops.
3.  The behind-the-wheel driving instruction times are flexible and are scheduled between the hours 
of 7:00 am and the last session ending at 5:00 pm.
4.  Students must be on time for driving sessions. Please call ahead of time if you are going to be late. 
5.  As a courtesy to other students and WDS instructors, a 24-hour cancellation notice is required. 
6.  While driving, students will receive short breaks. Please send money to purchase a snack.

​Behind-the-Wheel:  
A.  Each student will drive 6-hours. Students will not drive/ride with other students during their driving times. 
B.  Driving instruction will be held between the hours of 8:00 am to 2:00 pm on non-classroom days.
C.  Driving instruction will be after 2:00 pm on days of classroom instruction.
D.  Driving instruction will be scheduled the week after classroom instruction, when possible.
