Driving Instruction:
1. Students will drive individually with the driving instructor.
2. Students and the instructor must wear a face mask during the driving instruction.
3. A DMV representative will come to ALA to complete the SBTS-800 form, Restricted Instruction Permit form, on a scheduled date. If a student is not able to be present for this eye exam then the parent will be responsible for making arrangements with the DMV representative at a date that is convenient for both parties.
4. Students should dress comfortably and appropriately for driving instruction.
5. Bring sunshades
6. Students must wear shoes that "COVER" the heel of their feet or have a strap that can be placed on their heels i.e. Crocs in sports mode
7. Get adequate rest before driving, we don't want new drivers to think it is acceptable to drive FATIGUED OR DROWSY!
8. Students will take a break so you may send them money for a quick snack or drink
9. Please pick up your child on time
10. Please know your child's driving schedule. Missed appointments will delay your child's completion date.
